In general, Assisted Living provides a balance of residential living, medical and recreational services, and assistance with day-to-day living activities. In reality, it offers residents many of the same benefits as independent living, while providing basic help in areas that may have become personally challenging.

Usually family members are left in a dilemma when it comes to making the decision about placing their parents in Assisted Living facilities or Nursing Homes. In today's day and age, it has become vital to think about the betterment of our seniors. As much as children find it hard to accept the fact that parents have to be placed in an institution, they also face a guilt about doing so. With the changing times when every individual is off every morning into the work world, our elderly are often left home unattended and un-catered to. Most of the times, they are found in situations where they needed medical help and there was nobody nearby to provide it. Numerous cases have been heard of where the elderly have fallen and have been on the floor for hours before somebody discovered them.

Assisted Living facilities today are trying to create that environment where the elderly can get both physical and medical help that is needed on a day-to-day basis. Family members are usually counseled to get rid of the guilt of placing their parents in facilities. With assistance provided for activities of daily living along with recreational activities, facilities today are able to provide a healthy environment giving the seniors a feeling of self-content and security.

Staff in all of our locations is trained to comfort all new residents helping them to adjust into their new environment giving them comfort and a secure atmosphere. Our staff is also able to help family members cope with the changes in their family structure. With the capability of providing one-on-one care, we are also able to counsel our residents not only when they first come in to the facility, but also on a day-to-day basis.
